El Centro de Conservación de Manatíes del Caribe, dirigido por la Red Caribeña de Varamientos y la Universidad Interamericana de Puerto Rico, se dedica a la conservación de manatíes en peligro de extinción a través de programas de rescate y respuesta a varamientos, rehabilitación y cuidado veterinario, investigación poblacional y alcance comunitario en Puerto Rico y el Caribe.
